Compared to other solutions available on the market ( IP-PBX, etc), Anaxoo does not require the replacement of the existing telephone system. Deployment can be done incrementally, either site by site, department by department, or by other criteria that you define.The existing telephone system continues to operate until all of the employees have been trained and comfortable with their new telephone and the new services. VoIP - In a consumer context, this usually refers to a PC-based phone service that allows you to make calls over the internet from your PC to another subscriber to that service for no cost. The protocols used are often proprietary which excludes interoperability with other providers and the use of standard equipment like IP phones. Broadband Telephony - This is a consumer offering to make calls over internet using the existing phone and an adaptor. A standard telephone number is assigned to allow calls from regular telephones. Cost savings is the major advantage. Internet Telephony - In a business or consumer context, this refers to using the capacity of internet and a high-speed connection to make telephone calls. This is standards-based IP telephony (SIP protocol) over internet . The use of SIP ensures interoperability with other providers of internet telephony and with standard IP phones. No PBX is necessary. Calls between providers are free. Providers offer services to call any telephone in the world at discounted rates. Feb 23, 2009 – Anaxoo is now offering the Siemens cordless DECT C470 IP and the C47H. The C470 IP allows you to add up to 6 extra handsets to the phone system for cordless multiline calling. The phone can also inform you of missed calls by SMS sent to your mobile phone. The C470 IP offers the same features as the S685IP et S67H, but with a more modern design at a lower price.
